Terms & Conditions

Effective 1 April 2026 · Saptarang Ventures (OPC) Private Limited

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using idlidu — whether through our website, mobile experience, or any associated service — you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or transact on idlidu. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and truthful.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your account information, including your name, contact details, and payment information. Keeping your login credentials secure is entirely your responsibility — do not share your password with anyone. If you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation, please notify us immediately at support@idlidu.com. We will work with you to secure your account, but we cannot be held responsible for losses arising from unauthorised access that results from your own failure to protect your credentials.

3. Artist Responsibilities

Artists are expected to represent themselves honestly and completely. Your profile should accurately reflect your skills, experience, performance history, and the services you offer. Once a booking is confirmed, you are expected to honour that commitment — last-minute cancellations cause real harm to clients and to the wider community of trust we are building. All interactions with clients, prospective clients, and idlidu staff should be professional and respectful at all times. Do not make false claims about your credentials, affiliations, or past performances. The platform's integrity depends on every artist acting with honesty.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about their events when submitting a booking request — including the nature of the event, venue, date, expected audience, and any special requirements. All payments must be made through idlidu's platform; attempting to pay artists directly to avoid platform fees is a violation of these terms. You are expected to treat artists with dignity and respect at all times, both on the platform and at your event. Any form of harassment, intimidation, or abusive behaviour toward artists will result in immediate account review and possible termination.

5. Bookings & Payments

idlidu uses an escrow model for all transactions. When a client confirms a booking and completes payment, the funds are held securely in escrow — they are not released to the artist until the performance has been completed and confirmed. This protects both parties and ensures that commitments are honoured. Cancellation terms, refund timelines, and specific conditions are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions and should be read in conjunction with this document.

6. Prohibited Conduct

To protect the health of the marketplace, the following are strictly prohibited on idlidu: sharing contact information in messages or profiles for the purpose of conducting transactions outside the platform; posting false, misleading, or fabricated reviews; sending unsolicited commercial messages or spam; engaging in any form of fraud or financial misrepresentation; impersonating another person, artist, or organisation; and uploading or sharing content — including images, videos, or text — that belongs to someone else without their explicit permission. Violations may result in immediate account suspension, forfeiture of funds, or legal action where applicable.

7. Intellectual Property

Artists retain full ownership of their performances, recordings, compositions, and any creative content they upload to idlidu. By uploading content to the platform, you grant idlidu a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and promote that content within the platform for the purpose of facilitating bookings. idlidu retains all rights to its own platform design, branding, technology, and any content produced by idlidu itself. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of your creative work to idlidu.

8. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises between an artist and a client, we encourage both parties to first attempt to resolve it amicably through direct communication on the platform. If that is not possible, either party may escalate the matter to idlidu's dedicated resolution team, who will review the evidence submitted by both sides and issue a decision. If a dispute cannot be resolved through our internal process, it will be referred to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (India). Arbitration will take place in Bangalore, Karnataka, and the decision of the arbitrator will be final and binding on both parties.

9. Limitation of Liability

idlidu is a marketplace that connects independent artists and clients. We do not employ the artists listed on our platform, and we do not manage or supervise events. As such, idlidu is not liable for the conduct, performance quality, or actions of any artist or client on the platform. We are not responsible for outcomes at events that fall outside the scope of the confirmed booking. Our liability to any user, in any circumstance, is limited to the fees paid by that user to idlidu for the relevant transaction.

10. Termination

idlidu reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account that violates these Terms & Conditions, engages in prohibited conduct, or otherwise acts in a way that is harmful to the platform or its community. We will generally attempt to notify you before taking such action, except in cases of serious or repeated violations where immediate action is warranted. If you wish to close your own account, you may do so at any time by contacting us at support@idlidu.com. Account closure does not affect any obligations arising from transactions completed before the closure date.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes that cannot be resolved through arbitration will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka. By using idlidu, you consent to this jurisdiction.

12. Changes to These Terms

idlidu may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time as the platform evolves. When we make material changes, we will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before the new terms take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically so you are always aware of the current version.
