Delete Your Data

1. How to request deletion

Send one email. There is no form to fill in and no account you need to be logged into.

Send it from the address the account is registered under if you can. If you no longer have access to that mailbox, write from any address and say so — we will ask you for something else that proves the account is yours before we delete anything, because deleting the wrong person’s account is not a mistake that can be undone.

2. What gets deleted

• Your account, login credentials, and any linked Facebook or Google sign-in.
• Your profile — for artists, that means your bio, photos, videos, genres, services, pricing, and availability.
• Messages you have sent and received on the platform.
• Your bookings, enquiries, and saved preferences.
• Files you have uploaded to us.

3. What we keep, and why

Two things survive a deletion request, and we would rather tell you plainly than have you discover it later.

• Financial records. Where money has actually changed hands, we are required to retain the transaction record for tax and accounting compliance. We keep the record of the transaction, not your profile.
• Anonymised aggregates. Counts and statistics that no longer identify you — for example, how many bookings happened in a month — are retained. Nothing in them points back to you.

4. How long it takes

We reply to every request within 30 days. Once we have confirmed the account is yours, the purge begins immediately and completes within 90 days. We will email you when it is done.

5. If you signed in with Facebook or Google

Removing idlidu from your Facebook or Google account settings disconnects the sign-in. It does not delete the data we hold — those are two different systems, and the second one is ours.

To have your idlidu data deleted, use the email process in section 1. It is the only route that reaches us.

6. If you do not want to close your account

You do not have to delete everything to remove something. You can edit or clear most of your profile yourself from your dashboard, and you can ask us to remove specific items — a photo, a video, a message thread — while keeping your account. Email the same address and say what you want removed.

7. Your other rights

Deletion is one of several rights you have over your data. You can also ask for a copy of what we hold, correct anything inaccurate, or object to particular processing. These are set out in our Privacy Policy, and the same address handles all of them: privacy@idlidu.com.
