For Clients

How do I find the right artist for my event?+

Use our search to browse by genre, location, and event type. Filter results by availability and rate to narrow down the best match. Every artist profile includes videos, verified reviews, and package details so you can make an informed choice before reaching out.

How does payment work?+

When you confirm a booking, your payment is held securely in escrow — either via Cashfree (for Indian bookings) or PayPal (for international bookings). Funds are only released to the artist after a successful performance. You are never charged until you confirm, and the artist is never paid until they deliver.

What if an artist cancels?+

If an artist cancels, you receive a full refund automatically. If the cancellation happens within 48 hours of your event, our team will also reach out to offer an emergency backup artist. If no suitable alternative is found, your full refund is guaranteed.

Can I book multiple artists for one event?+

Yes. The event planner feature lets you create a single event and add multiple artist slots — for example, an emcee, a live band, and a classical dancer. You can manage timings, budgets, and confirmations for each slot from one dashboard.

What is the concierge service?+

The concierge service is our white-glove booking option for clients who need help planning a complex or last-minute event. A dedicated coordinator works with you to shortlist artists, negotiate terms, and manage logistics end to end. Contact support@idlidu.com to get started.

Are the reviews real?+

Yes. Reviews on idlidu can only be left by clients who completed a booking and confirmed a performance. We do not allow anonymous or unverified reviews. Artists cannot pay to remove or suppress reviews.

For Artists

How do I get listed on idlidu?+

Create an account and select the ARTIST role during registration. Complete your profile — bio, photos, videos, service packages, pricing, and availability. Once your profile is live, you appear in search results and can start receiving booking requests.

What commission does idlidu take?+

Our commission structure rewards growth: 9% at the Starter tier, 6% at the Growing tier, and 3% at the Established tier. Tier advancement is based on cumulative earnings on the platform. The exact tier thresholds and benefits are shown in your artist dashboard.

When do I get paid?+

Funds are held in escrow until the client confirms the performance is complete. Once confirmed — or after a defined waiting period if the client does not respond — the funds are released to your account. Payouts typically appear within 3–5 business days depending on your bank.

Can I set my own prices?+

Yes, completely. You control your rates, package structures, and availability calendar. You can offer different packages for different event types — for example, a 30-minute corporate set versus a full evening wedding performance.

What is the verification badge?+

The verification badge (Bronze, Silver, or Gold) reflects the level of identity and document review completed on your profile. Bronze requires basic document verification. Silver adds portfolio and credential review. Gold is reserved for artists with a strong booking history and fully verified credentials. Verified artists appear higher in search results.

Can I offer courses or workshops?+

Yes. From your artist dashboard you can publish recorded courses — video lessons that clients can purchase and watch at any time — or schedule live workshops with a set date, time, and participant limit. Both formats are supported natively on idlidu.

Payments & Security

Is my payment secure?+

Yes. All Indian payments are processed through Cashfree, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified — the highest standard for payment security. International payments use PayPal. Funds are held in escrow and never transferred to the artist until the performance is confirmed. We do not store card details on our servers.

What currencies are supported?+

idlidu supports INR, USD, EUR, GBP, AED, AUD, CAD, and JPY. The displayed currency on an artist's profile depends on their listed location. Clients pay in their preferred currency; conversion rates are applied at the time of booking.

What happens if there is a dispute?+

If a client and artist cannot resolve a disagreement directly, either party can raise a formal dispute through the platform. Our dedicated resolution team reviews the evidence — messages, contracts, and any documentation submitted — and issues a decision within a structured timeline. Both parties are notified at each stage.

Are there hidden fees?+

No. The total amount you will be charged is shown clearly before you confirm a booking. There are no surprise processing fees added at checkout. Artists see the exact commission deducted from each booking in their dashboard before they accept.

Platform & Account

What is the Manager role?+

The Manager role is designed for talent agents and artist managers. A Manager account can be linked to one or more artist profiles, allowing the manager to handle bookings, respond to requests, and manage calendars on behalf of their roster — without sharing login credentials.

Is there a free plan?+

Yes. Artists and clients can access all core features — search, booking, messaging, and profile management — on the free plan. Pro plans are available for artists who want enhanced visibility, priority placement in search results, and additional analytics tools.

Can I delete my account?+

Yes. Email support@idlidu.com with your account deletion request. Active bookings must be completed or cancelled before deletion. Once confirmed, your account data is purged within 90 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

What is a casting call or project?+

A casting call (also called a project) lets clients post open roles for film, theatre, corporate events, or weddings. Artists browse and apply with their profile and a short pitch. Clients can shortlist, audition, and book directly from the responses — useful for production-style hiring beyond a single performance booking.
