Escrow Payments
Every payment on idlidu is processed through Cashfree, a PCI DSS Level 1 compliant payment gateway. When a client books an artist, the payment is not sent directly to the artist. Instead, it is held securely in escrow until the service is delivered and the booking is marked as completed. This means clients are protected from paying for services that are never delivered, and artists are assured that the funds are committed before they show up to perform.
If a booking is cancelled, the refund process is handled through the platform. Automatic refunds are issued for eligible cancellations, and the full process is transparent to both parties.
Verified Profiles
Not all artists are equal, and the verification system helps quality performers stand out. idlidu offers three tiers: Bronze verification confirms the artist's identity through a government-issued ID and selfie match. Silver verification adds a review of professional credentials, training certificates, and portfolio authenticity. Gold verification is reserved for established professionals with a proven track record of completed bookings, consistently high ratings, and a comprehensive portfolio.
Verification badges are displayed prominently on artist profiles and search results, so clients can immediately assess the credibility of any performer they are considering.
Performance Agreements
Every confirmed booking on idlidu generates a performance agreement — an auto-generated PDF contract that outlines the service details, date, time, location, pricing, and terms. Both the artist and the client can download this document at any time. It serves as a professional record of what was agreed upon, and it is the reference document if any questions or disputes arise.
Content Filtering
To protect both parties, idlidu filters content across the platform to prevent the sharing of personal contact information such as phone numbers, email addresses, social media handles, and external URLs within forums, blog posts, reviews, and messages. This ensures that all communication and transactions happen within the platform where both parties have the protection of escrow, agreements, and dispute resolution.
Dispute Resolution
If something goes wrong, either party can raise a dispute through their booking dashboard. Common reasons include the artist not showing up, the service differing significantly from what was agreed, or issues with the venue or timing. Our team reviews every dispute fairly, considering the booking terms, communication history, performance agreement, and accounts from both sides. The system is designed to be fair, not to automatically favor either side.
Reviews: Honest and Verified
Reviews on idlidu can only be submitted after a booking is completed. There is no way to leave a review without having actually booked and paid for a service. This eliminates fake reviews and ensures that every rating reflects a genuine experience. Artists can respond to reviews, creating a transparent dialogue that future clients can read and evaluate.
Auto-Expiry of Stale Bookings
If an artist does not respond to a booking request within 48 hours, the booking is automatically cancelled and any escrowed payment is returned to the client. This prevents clients from being left in limbo while waiting for a response, and it incentivizes artists to maintain active, responsive accounts.
Account Security
Every idlidu account is protected by multiple security layers. Multi-factor authentication using TOTP adds a second verification step beyond your password. Ten backup codes are provided when you enable MFA. Session management lets you force logout from all devices with a single click. Sessions have a 24-hour absolute lifetime. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt before storage — we never store or have access to your plain-text password.
Brute Force Protection
After five consecutive failed login attempts, the account is temporarily locked for 15 minutes. Rate limiting on login, registration, password reset, and contact forms adds another layer. Every public form on idlidu is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile — a privacy-friendly, invisible CAPTCHA that verifies you are a real person without requiring you to solve puzzles.
