Allowed
Automated agents and scripts calling the APIs within plan quotas. Research and internal tooling that respects methodology disclaimers.
Forbidden
- Bypassing authentication, paywalls, or access controls on upstream sources.
- Using idlidu ingest surfaces to attack, probe private networks, or evade sanctions.
- Reselling raw snapshot bulk dumps except where an Archive entitlement expressly allows export.
- Presenting dataset output as a credit rating, security certification, legal advice, brokerage, appraisal, or official government product.
- Attempting to exceed rate limits by key farming or shared-key abuse.
Upstream fetching (idlidu-operated bots)
When idlidu fetches public sources, bots identify via /bot/, prefer allowlists, and must not log in or bypass controls. Track SOURCES / TOS surveys gate live fetch.
Enforcement
We may throttle, suspend keys, or refuse service for violations.
